Team connection once happened naturally in shared spaces. Coworkers chatted before meetings, caught up over lunch, celebrated milestones together, and solved small problems across a desk. In remote and hybrid workplaces, many of those spontaneous moments are no longer part of the daily routine.
That does not mean strong relationships are limited to teams that share an office. Remote employees can build trust, friendship, and a genuine sense of belonging, but connections must be created more intentionally.
